At the start of September, benchrest shooters took part in the Pro Shooting League main event, competing for the coveted champion title along with a $5,000 cash prize. It was Todd Wooten of Ohio who came out victorious after shooting a three target score of 7225 46Xs.

The PSL main event requires shooters to qualify at one of its five qualifying events by finishing in the top ten, or tied for 10th in the overall match. They will then be invited to compete at the main event.
